Old Glory DC is a professional rugby team based in the District of Columbia and officially joined Major League Rugby (MLR) in 2018. The Renegades have won the CRU and MAC Championships in D3 and D4, been to the USAR Final Four and are the current IGR North America East champions.
WPG RFC is a men's rugby club in the DC metro area with practice and playing fields in Arlington and Alexandria. Itâs also an incredible growing experience, an outlet, and a fun time for everyone involved! The Club provides a solid rugby and social experience for both seasoned players and newcomers to the sport.All are welcome to play for the Renegades. Along with Boy Scout Troop 151, the Renegades hauled, spread and smoothed over 20 tons of crushed limestone in order to make the memorial area wheelchair accessible.Since 2000, the Washington Renegades Rugby Football Club has provided support at FOOD & FRIENDS.
Off the pitch, the team regularly hosts a wide variety of social gatherings.The Washington Renegades are committed to giving back to our community through charitable and educational activities. DALLAS (August 6, 2020) – Major League Rugby (MLR) announced today that Jonathan Kaplan will lead the appointment and development of match officials for the 2021 season.

Washington, DC. Some other volunteering highlights include, AIDSRide, when six Renegades participated and rode 330 miles over 4 days to raise funds for the Whitman Walker Clinic and Food & Friends. We also purchase the back-to-school faculty breakfast for the school.Your participation in our community service program is most welcome! Also attending were individual players from Chicago, London and Melbourne. We are a member of the Capital Rugby Union (CRU), USA Rugby (USAR) and a founding member of International Gay Rugby (IGR). We field competitive sides in the Mid-Atlantic Conference (MAC) of USAR in Division III and Division IV and participate in the IGR Championship — the Mark Bingham Cup — every two years.

The club always welcomes new players to the sport by offering formal and informal instruction on an ongoing basis.As is common throughout the sport of rugby, the team emphasizes building camaraderie and friendships on and off the pitch. In October 1999, the club played its first 15s match against the Roanoke Rugby Football Club. Since Sept. 11, the Renegades have participated in an international rugby tournament named in memory of Mark.
The Washington Women’s Rugby Football Club, better known as the DC Furies, is one of the oldest women’s rugby clubs in the nation. Team members have also held fundraisers for the FDNY Ladder 11/Engine 28 and annually participate in Team DC's Christmas Toy Drive.
