Brace Yourself Games has crafted a unique Zelda game which fits in perfectly with the rest of the family. Blends the Zelda aesthetic with a wholly unique style of gameplay. If you like the zelda franchise it's a refreshing experience, and if you liked crypt of the necromancer, I think this game has great changes, though it might be too easy for you. By far the best part of the game is the amazing soundtrack, and I can't wait till we get an official release of theAn amazing game! Cadence of Hyrule – Crypt of the NecroDancer Featuring The Legend of Zelda manages to present a Zelda game with a Crypt of the NecroDancer gameplay and it works like a charm. The results are quite charming indeed....I can't actually play it very well... at all... but I am enjoying it nonetheless!
Replay value is high. Then combine it with A Link to the Past, one of the best Zelda games ever, and you get an instant classic. Cadence of Hyrule is a wonderful musical adventure, giving The Legend of Zelda series a delightfully fresh perspective. Wow, wow, just wow! Co-op is also a nice addition that works surprisingly well. The price may be high for what is an indie title... but so far I think its worth every pound, dollor or euro.
There is so much attention to detail and if I didn't know better I would've thought Nintendo just made this spin off game themselves.
Without that mode, I don’t think this game would have as much appeal but the developers were wise to include it. Incredible soundtrack, endless gameplay, additive rewards system-- even if you don't like Crypt of the Necrodancer, you will love this.
I was in the same position and asked other people for their opinion, which was pretty encouraging. I think most people who wrote reviews for this game are content with anything "Zelda".
The soundtrack is one of the best I have heard in years, and the visuals, animations, and Zelda flair is so excellently implemented. I think the nicest thing I can say about Cadence of Hyrule is that it absolutely deserves to stand in the Zelda canon alongside the best of its 2D games. Great music, great gameplay, great dungeons and overworld. The greatest compliment I can give to Cadence of Hyrule is that if I didn’t know any better, I would say this was made by an in-house Nintendo development team. Incredible soundtrack, endless gameplay, additive rewards system-- even if you don't like Crypt of the Necrodancer, you will love this.
It takes the best parts of Crypt of the NecroDancer and makes them more accessible, which really comes with the territory when you're paying homage to The Legend of Zelda. The biggest gripe I have against the game is that it's a tad too difficult for those who are, let's set, not rhythmically inclined. Cadence of Hyrule's physical edition launches October 23 and comes with all three pieces of DLC announced during this week's Nintendo Direct Mini.
A Celebration of Endings The map has that Zelda feel to it.
