It is available to foreign-trained dentists who live and practice dentistry outside of the United States.The NECF will only be allowed to observe the various clinical procedures in the Endodontic graduate clinic, with strictly no patient contact.
Endodontic Residency Program The Graduate Endodontic Program is a continuous, 24-month Master's degree and Certificate program commencing the beginning of July of each year. They may be allowed to attend select graduate courses and seminars, provided approval is granted by the Course Director and the Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies. This is not an endodontics residency program or a CODA-approved endodontics specialty program. Apply to the Endodontics Program This two-year program of rigorous didactic and intensive clinical training is designed to prepare a dentist for the independent practice of endodontics. The Advanced Education Program in Endodontics at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry offers a formal, short-term (1 year) educational experience for foreign-trained dentists who live and practice dentistry outside of the United States.To purpose of this program is to provide an educational experience in Endodontics for foreign-trained dentists who have a desire to enhance their awareness and understanding of this advanced education area of oral health care. Diplomate, American Board of Endodontics. The endodontic faculty teach a full scope of clinical and didactic endodontic courses to second-, third- and fourth-year dental students. It has a full-time director, full-time academic faculty, and part-time clinical faculty members. For graduate students, the department offers a 27-month certificate program, a M.S. Completion of the Continuing Education Program is an educational goal in itself, and in no way insures acceptance to a postgraduate residency program.
The UB Continuing Education Program in Endodontics is a non-credit bearing, non-degree program that enables dentists from outside the United States to acquire additional training in endodontics by means of distance learning. Upon completion of the program, students receive a Certificate in Endodontics from the American Board of Endodontics.The didactic program includes core biomedical science courses and intermediate and advanced endodontics courses, providing the knowledge base and analytical skills needed by the future endodontist as well as the life-long learning abilities to continue professional growth throughout his/her career.The College of Dental Medicine's Endodontic Clinic serves the needs of a large and diverse population.
The Advanced Education Program in Endodontics has as three key goals: to prepare the resident for eligibility for the American Board of Endodontics; to prepare the resident to be a competent professional clinician who has an in depth understanding of the science and practice of endodontics; and to prepare the resident for teaching and for the evaluation of the endodontic literature.
