I had read that this is the bar where it originatedThis legendary establishment, is the kind of place any traveler wishes to discover, and stay!! The atmosphere is fun (go from classic bar to dark-tabled pub to airy side area to open porch with awning...it's all there!!). Unfortunately, the argument that he had with his colleague did nothing to improve his demeanor.
There is a combo platter that...The wife took me to this bar where she used to hang out with her dad as a kid and put salt in his beer (we're Senior Citizens now!). Located in the St. Regis Hotel, this bar is where the Bloody Mary (or Red Snapper) was invented........couldn't pass up a chance to see the place!
I would love to see Cole's investigated on Paranormal Lockdown or Ghost Adventures.

I have been coming here for years, and, the aptly named bar, as the fabulous Maxfield Parrish mural adorSt. The place is beautiful the service wonderful! Dinner was great - really fresh salad and wings were fabulous.Coles has a great bar scene and good food. It feels as if there is no place this lovely bar could exist but NYC. This NYC night helicopter tour packs in aerial views of the Statue of Liberty and other top attractions without making you wait in multiple lines back on the ground.

There are a lot of department stores in New York City, so before going to one, you should be able to know more about it. Those spots may be all taken -- at some times of the day or week.As far as I know there is no haunting or paranormal activity at Cole's. It was a Friday, so we were excited about getting a fish fry.
