They even gave us lunch to take with us on checkout. The small private bathroom appeared clean, but a broken soap dispenser in the shower was a hazard. I expected more to be on it.

Our guide for our stay, Nicole was fantastic, a wealth of knowledge and an energy you'd only get from someone who truly loves what she does. To the friendly staff, the modern interior and not to mention the rooms. We could not open the window because the screen was missing. The only thing we missed was an airco whch we usualy have. There was chicken and rice soup, lettuce, dressings,celery,green peppers, onions and carrots on it. You'll also see little Hyrax's running around! They just need to rehab or eliminate these older cabins. The area is great for birdies and the bird specialist Sam Japane is exceptional Great staf and nice food.Dear Kees Thank you so much for your review. We can go to any other steakhouse along the river and the food is much better and so is the salad bar.This review is for the restaurant at The Outpost Lodge, not the lodging part: I had the chicken fried steak, which had an awful after-taste, probably from being fried in very old grease. We are so glad you got a holistic experience of the lodge as well as on safari.
