Luke 4:18 "The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; And He said to His disciples, “Have them sit down to eat in groups of about fifty each.”Then He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed them, and broke them, and kept giving them to the disciples to set before the people.And they all ate and were satisfied; and the broken pieces which they had left over were picked up, twelve baskets full.And Jesus called His disciples to Him, and said, “I feel compassion for the people, because they have remained with Me now three days and have nothing to eat; and I do not want to send them away hungry, for they might faint on the way.”The disciples *said to Him, “Where would we get so many loaves in this desolate place to satisfy such a large crowd?”And Jesus *said to them, “How many loaves do you have?” And they said, “Seven, and a few small fish.”And He directed the people to sit down on the ground;and He took the seven loaves and the fish; and giving thanks, He broke them and started giving them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people.And they all ate and were satisfied, and they picked up what was left over of the broken pieces, seven large baskets full.“I feel compassion for the people because they have remained with Me now three days and have nothing to eat.If I send them away hungry to their homes, they will faint on the way; and some of them have come from a great distance.”And His disciples answered Him, “Where will anyone be able to find enough bread here in this desolate place to satisfy these people?”And He was asking them, “How many loaves do you have?” And they said, “Seven.”And He *directed the people to sit down on the ground; and taking the seven loaves, He gave thanks and broke them, and started giving them to His disciples to serve to them, and they served them to the people.They also had a few small fish; and after He had blessed them, He ordered these to be served as well.And they ate and were satisfied; and they picked up seven large baskets full of what was left over of the broken pieces.They will fling their silver into the streets and their gold will become an abhorrent thing; their silver and their gold will not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the Someone in the crowd said to Him, “Teacher, tell my brother to divide the family inheritance with me.”But He said to him, “Man, who appointed Me a judge or arbitrator over you?”Then He said to them, “Beware, and be on your guard against every form of greed; for not even when one has an abundance does his life consist of his possessions.”And He told them a parable, saying, “The land of a rich man was very productive.And he began reasoning to himself, saying, ‘What shall I do, since I have no place to store my crops?’Then he said, ‘This is what I will do: I will tear down my barns and build larger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods.And I will say to my soul, “Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years to come; take your ease, eat, drink and be merry.”’But God said to him, ‘You fool!
