I have chance where I am now, which I never was going to have if I had continued holding on to things that were never again, going to be what I rememebered.I don't know if you are asking out of random curiosity, or if something in your life is presenting Minneapolis as an option for you. I don't really have more details than that. I think it depends on what neighborhood you are in. Odds of having a problem are slim if you don’t antagonize drunks or be dumb.People will test unlocked cars but rarely is a window broken to get in a car.The closer you get to lakes, it goes from affluent to pretty damn rich. Now in the 90’s? West part is affluent and ‘safe’ by city standards. You can do all the regular stuff in a large city - symphony, museums, sports, shopping. The food and culture scene has gotten a lot better since I left 15 years ago and is definitely above average for a city of its size.My take on the winters is that in spite of how cold they are, everything is so well set up for it.
