Any person even seeing a lick of promotional material for Promare may guess that it's main selling point is the animation and striking art style. Catch all the action in this premiere event featuring both English Dub and Subtitled versions. I also love how by the end of the movie he was feeding into Galo's 'idiotic' quialities. The animation is stunning, the voice acting was great, the music was great, but the story was barely there which also gives very little to let you attach to the characters other than design. I'd assume as early as the end of March or as late as the beginning of September (being the best and absolute worst case scenarios respectively [again, assuming it's not a simultaneous release]).Good news is that either way as soon as the Bluray comes out in Japan it'll probably be on some (non official) streaming sites, so there's at least that.Yeah it's Japan but I'm hoping for simultaneous release or shortly after. The action and the overall aesthetic of the film were great breadwinners in the grand scheme, and if that is enough to come by for you, this is a top priority.Promare had every chance to be good, but unfortunately it was Eye and Ear candy with very little substance.

There was a chance to really develope a plot in the first quarter of the movie, but the pacing is so fast that it glosses over any narrative that takes more than a few seconds away from getting to the next action sequence. I can safely say that its the latter choice. The plot was really cliche and I guessed almost everything before it happened but I still reallly enjoyed watching it unfolde.
