Call me crazy, but even if they stop seeing patients 30 mins before closing, a doctor should be there during the business hours they post and at the very least they should answer their doors (if they aren't already unlocked as they honestly should be) to advise patients of where they can go to get medical treatment (ER or the next closest urgent care), but I would expect any business to be open during their posted business hours, I just expect more from a medical facility since they are dealing with people's lives.

This whole process makes me not want to go back to any UCLA Health facility.I am sorry to hear about your experience with billing, EG. A few days later I spoke with my insurance and they said yes it's covered so I called UCLA back and they said they can not forward it to my insurance because I already elected the discounted cash rate!
And their "patient experience" department...which is a complete joke ACT like they care, but in reality its all a show. They over bill and miscode for extra billing which may work when ins is paying for it but when i have to pay for over $1000 for 5 min doctor visit that doesn't include any tests, we have a problem.The Doctors I have seen were awesome and that's why UCLA Health gets one star. I provided the front desk with my info. But, now after paying that I'm getting a $38 charge on top of the co pay when it says clearly on the SAG insurance site that all deductibles would be waived...and the office mgr even quoted that...but, I still got a $38 charge on my bill above my $25 co pay on a $406 5 minute office visit. Dr. Jayanta Das, MD. I also feel very welcomed and not rushed. But if the insurance declines to pay they can not offer the discount again. Went to see another gi at Cedars dr Woolf (fantastic) took the test that day got the results 2 days later. I have personally experienced the staff at this location going well above and beyond the call of duty.

Having to pay a $25 co pay on a visit. Unless you are on a suicide mission then that's a different ball game however these medical professionals are extremely unknowledgeable, close minded, and refute what you pay out of pocket money for to go back and do their own labs with their own microscopes. Cardiology. Well, it took 7-8 weeks and I finally got the bill seeing that UCLA charged $16,000 and my co pay was $690 something bucks. A few days before my appointment they called and said that she was no longer excepting new patients and canceled on me.
Also they book a lot of appts at same time , so when you do arrive early, you may wait hours to see the Dr. Horrible Horrible Horrible!!!!!! The staff who work the counter at check in are friendly though...Nice peeps. On checking before hand my co-pay...my out of pocket on the treadmill.

I've recently had quite a few medical issues, some somewhat traumatic and they were all handled with promptness, urgency and thoroughness. While the Doctor I saw today, Dr. Go Wheeler had high recommendations, positive feedback and reviews however the experience for the 3rd time was bad. I had to call multiple times to get through to someone and they never called back when I left messages.
So they are "reviewing" the claim now and will get back to me.
She wasn't able to see me for three weeks.
6 days later UCLA contacted yelp and they want to pull my message rating down because they feel it doesn't help the community when it actually does. whom I absolutely adored, who took a position with UCLA.
