Though the ending wraps the story up a bit too neatly and the lasting value sharply drops off once you complete the game, Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright points its fingers with the best of them. The one solves puzzles, the other crimes. Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney is a great pairing that makes for an addictive game.

Not an obvious match, but a fun one. A great mesh of two beloved franchises. It's Phoenix, however, in his element in this magical world, that well and truly steals the show. It does miss out, though, on the quantity and quality of the puzzles offered, as well as on the lacklustre outcome of its plot, perhaps a casualty of such an ambitious crossover.
The Other One: Season 1 The story is just incredible, and it really mixes this two franchises very well.
My main complaint would be that every investigation sequence featuring Phoenix is very short and seems pretty shoe horned in. Wright benefits slightly more from the fresh coat of paint, but Layton more than holds his own in this hugely enjoyable slice of comic mystery. It was announced at the LEVEL-5 Vision 2010 Event.
