I am returning this pen tomorrow. I bought a Parker Jotter pen with a black satin and stainless steel barrel and I am pleased. it is designed for quick engagement like a jotter, but so are many pens. *the parker jotter's classic design has a few basic elements, the most crucial are the oblong shape and the single color plastic body that goes into a metal nock-casing. Besides the Jotter, Parker is also known for the Vector line of capped rollerballs and fountain pens. This is not the case. You can still see all customer reviews for the product. The plastic barrel is quite thin but is not at all flexible, so it seems to have adequate strength for my use.
Writes great with a fisher space pen refill.

The Parker Vector Rollerball is a shining example of an understated yet over performing Parker pen, while the IM range of Parker rollerball pens offer high quality, contemporary designs engineered for ultimate comfort in writing. I don’t like using ballpoint pens, but recently remembered that as a teenager in the 1980s I had a Parker Jotter that I loved but stopped using when the ink ran out (I had a hard time finding a refill because I had no idea where to look for one). This makes this pen totally ineffective and therefore not of any use. The Parker Urban is not a $60+ pen, period, just like the Parker Sonnet is not a $300 pen.

I was gifted a pen from my company when I started that was customized with our logo and I absolutely loved the way it wrote. Details. Still, I can’t comfortably hold the pen in my instinctive position. Your recently viewed items and featured recommendations My son says this happened some time ago and I’m certainly not denying that he may well have been over forceful tightening it but I’m still disappointed that it happened. Such a shame that such a reputable company is putting out substandard products. Fine rollerball tip lets ink glide smoothly across your paper. Jotter Originals Original since ’54. By holding the pen more vertically, with my thumb across the barrel and my fingers farther forward that I might typically place them, I’ve modified my grip a bit for this pen, solving this problem. This rollerball writes well and in good quality black ink, although I would have preferred a slightly finer tip. Clicker is really nice. The refil writes with a 'grainy' feel. Should have gone for the Lamy. Let’s start at the top.
Bought this for my son as first fountain pen, sent him off to school with it and other than buying refills didn’t give it too much thought. The Parker Jotter is a much better option.
My other Jotters are all metal. The brushed steel finish is quite attractive, and the arrow clip itself is nicely wrought. Shocked that Parker — an iconic pen company with a great history — would put their name in this inferior piece of plastic junk. I’m happy that Parker still makes this very solidly made line of pens, and that this one writes as well as I remember my old Jotter writing. As a throwaway pen it is overpriced.
