Doesn't run easily. It’s not Bulletproof, but it is water-resistant. The ink is specifically designed for fountain pen use. It's a bit pricier than competing inks, but you get much, much more for your money. If you have a troublesome pen that is a difficult starter or skips, try Noodler's lubricated "Eel" inks instead, or use Diamine's inks (most of Diamine's aren't waterproof though). I needed some black permanent ink that I could use for line and watercolour wash sketches. Noodler's Black is excellent both in the darkness of the pigment and in application.
