Well, he wouldn't have become the standout restaurateur he is today had it not been for his time at The Root in suburban White Lake. We did the chef's tasting and it was on point from start to finish. This place doesn't disappoint! The tasting menu was fun and delicious. The food was paced well and outstanding.

Went for team dinner and everything was excellent. Its pretty tiny so make sure you make reservations. Every bite of food was fantastic but the beer cheese soup, scallops, wagyu strip steak, and secret menu French fries were out of this world. How did such an amazing tasting menu end up here? It may be tiny, but with Chef James Rigato actually in the kitchen most nights, the food packs a tasty punch. That could be because it's a 3 hour experience which is great.
