Also I think for a short vacation a bar would Be great! I use them only when I’m travelling and don’t want to carry liquid shampoo. My hair feels great when I'm done and I don't need conditioner after.I do have a small chunk of avo-co wash, and I use it to sort of repair my scalp occasionally.
This has nice coarse sea salts that helps clean the hair and scalp well. This is because all of their hair products contain sulfates and alcohol, which are both drying.I’ve used SaF, Godiva and Karma Komba. I only shampoo my hair like twice a week So I figure a medium sized tub will last me a while.I love Big Shampoo but I had to quit using it. I found that even though Big was great for my oily roots, it was drying out my scalp and making it itchy. Recently I've tried Godiva and Soak and Float, and some years ago tried Jason and the Argan Oil, but though they leave my hair feeling nice, the scalp problems aren't worth it.I was using Fairly Traded Honey for a while, and didn't have the same problem at all, but wanted to switch to something packaging free. My local store is a busy one so I can't imagine it's old stock with the old formula hanging around?Have you been running the bar directly on your hair? The only way I got to make it work for me was by using Roots hair treatment to loosen and scrub out the flakes along with some coconut oil.You could try that first, perhaps with olive oil even without a treatment. But the scalp. I had flakey, itchy scalp for years. After using one squeaky Green i can now use every Solid Shampoo bar. And it smells so goodI'm going to end up buying a small container for myself.I love Big! A volumising shampoo made with seaweed and sea salt. The volume I get from it is absolutely amazing! If it was the same size/price as the other bars, I would use it regularly. Agreed - their shampoo bars have a big component of soap and sulfates. My advice is wet your hair, then wet your bar, lather between your hands and put the bar aside, then work the lather into your hair starting from the roots to the tip ;)For product recommendation, you should try honey I washed my hair, because it has honey like fairly traded honey. Just purchased fair traded honey. Thats too much product. I want to love them but they suck for me.All the bars I have brought have been since Christmas, so I suppose my be the new formula.
