I have had the app crash my Fire Stick and I had to unplug the whole thing to get it to come back. The most common method you can try to solve your problem is to force stop the crashed apps. Does the Funimation app suck?

FUNimation needs to work on it Using APKPure App to upgrade Funimation, fast, free and save your internet data. I have a Sony Android tv and the Funimation app kicks me back to the login screen after entering my credentials. Sometimes glitches out. Fixes an issue where the video player jumps back 10 seconds
I do NOT recommend this app, the website Funimation.com itself is slightly better.
