Carlos was amazing, not only did he stay in touch before the stay with queries but was extremely helpful throughout in offering advice and booking taxis etc.
Carlos emailed us before our stay to make sure we knew how to get into the apartment and to make sure we were ok getting there from the airport which was a really great touch. There is also a pine forest with a children’s play area and barbecue facilities. Well equipped, very clean, great service and a great private garden. The supermarket was close enough but having a car definitely made the trip easier. Breakfast was included in our room rate which was adequate. Didn’t use the restaurant but looked Spanish , a lot of fish we would smell every night. I could not fault the place! Check in was easy & bathroom amenities were left & some kitchen amenities like dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll, binliners. The apartment was beautifully decorated, very modern with everything you could possibly want - satellite tv, free WiFi, washing machine, dish washer etc. I would highly recommend this property to anyone and we are already looking to book to go again next year despite only leaving today! I would recommend this hotel for short stays and if you like the more quiet parts of Benidorm and also if you have dogs as it’s dog friendly although we didn’t see many during our stay. I was also really impressed to find the play area was built in and around the trees and were also beautifully decorated and thought about. Location was okay , but not our sort of thing as it was On the out skirts of Benidorm which meant a long walk in to the new town where the night life was or a cab which cost around €10 or a bus for €1.50 which meant timing the bus times. El Palmeral’s large lounge opens onto a terrace with wonderful views. We even contacted Carlos when we got lost and needed a taxi he sorted it straight away. Wasn’t a problem just meant not having cold drinks or making tea or coffee. It also allowed us to go into Alicante on a whim (about a 15 minute drive) and explore the beaches around the area.
