The salad bar was phenomenal and the drinks were off the chart. When you are at Brick Alley you will have fun, you will have great food, and you will be able to take a break from the stress of day to day life. It's a good place to go for dinner or lunch. The only thing that I did not like were the veggie lettuce wraps. My sister got the fish and chips and liked that too. I'd highly recommend you come by and try their unbelievable clam chowder soup and experience first hand the great service they offer.We came here the other night for dinner and found this place just a-okay.Great service and excellent food. The wait was going to be about an hour (expected for a Saturday night at a popular restaurant in Newport), but we were happily seated about 20 minutes quicker than expected!This is a classic in Newport. A Newport Landmark, Brick Alley Pub has been voted both "Best Restaurant" and "Best Bar" in Rhode Island.
The place was absolutely mobbed and by the time we ordered it would've been past 2am (which would've been well past their kitchen closing). For a casual lunch at a bar, I don't need it to be extremely drawn out or spread out, and it wasn't which is appropriate for the setting.You should definitely call in a reservation for this place especially around dinner time since it can get pretty packed!
