Jewell, age 81, of Dry Ridge, Kentucky formerly of Murray, Kentucky died Saturday, August 9, 2014 at the Grant Center Nursing facility in Williamstown, Kentucky after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Barbara was born Sept. 11, 1949, in Sioux Falls, S.D., the daughter of Benjamin B. and Lucille Distad Jewell.
