I want to explore his character and build a friendly relationship with Ed. This a rare time travel fic where the traveler is upfront about his future knowledge with just about everyone he trusts. Like the titles says, these are all Fullmetal Alchemist time travel stories (although it's only the ones I found interesting).

There are some good time-traveling fics out there with Trisha, but none with Hohenheim, which is a shame. How would he be able to fulfill his promise to Winry, that the next time she cries, it would be tears of happiness? This is going to be a time travel story about Ed and Al going back to right before Lior.

Edward Elric smirked at the white figure of the being known as Truth sitting cross legged in front of him.

After all, Alchemy wasn't as important as his friends and brother were. The Truth actually seemed genuinely happy with his answer.Edward smirked triumphly, but the Truth's next words sent his hopes and joys crashing and burning down, hard.Ed's jaw fell and hung open in utter disbelief as it felt as if someone had slapped him across the face with a metal gauntlet. Edward repeated his own thoughts . Sure, Alchemy played a major part in his life, but he could easily get on well enough without it. There it was, the very thing he wanted all along.
