So for the time being, NBA games will continue to be played in empty arenas except in a few cases, as the Utah Jazz, Memphis Grizzlies and Orlando Magic have plans to allow fans at home games. The location for such an event has yet to be finalized. In a statement issued Wednesday, the league made clear that Turner ignored orders to refrain from going on the field. Taxi squad players are permitted to travel with the NHL squad, practice  with them and join any team activities. The Knicks have had a miserable 12 months, finishing the 2018/19 season with a league-worst 17 wins, missing out on their top free agent targets, and then firing head coach David Fizdale and president of basketball operations Steve Mills during the 2019/20 season.. None of that seems to have had a noticeable impact on the team’s market value though. On Friday, Oklahoma City Thunder owner Clay Bennett gave a heartfelt speech on why the league and its owners should consider including all 30 teams because of the competitive and financial impacts of not playing games.
